You’re here reading this, which is telling me three things:
One, you’re building your website (or sales funnels) with ClickFunnels 2.0.
Two, you’ve already added, or are in the process of adding, your products to the funnel-building tool. (Psst! Check out our guide to adding a product in ClickFunnels 2.0 for our expert tips and tricks.)
Three, you got to the point where you’re setting the product’s price. But you’re stuck, because you saw the “Visible” checkbox and you’re not really sure what it is, and if you should leave it checked or unchecked.
Well, my friend, wonder no more! Because in the next few paragraphs, I’m about to help you understand exactly what price visibile or price visibility in ClickFunnels 2.0 is, and how you can use it. If that sounds like what you came here to find out, read on!
Price Visibility in ClickFunnels 2.0, Explained
I recently wrote a guide to changing a product’s price in ClickFunnels 2.0, where I explained that ClickFunnels 2.0 lets you add many prices to one product — so that you can sell that product at different prices in your funnels.
Here’s an example:
This is a product that’s normally priced at $14.99. However, I’m also selling it at the discounted price of $9.99 in some funnels.
So what does “Visible” stand for?
Well, in ClickFunnels 2.0, you have a website with a Store and Customer Center where customers, potential and existing, can explore and buy your products, right? The price that’s visible is the price customers can buy your product for from within the Store and Customer Center.
And that’s what price visibility in ClickFunnels 2.0 means.
You can still sell your products for a price other than the visible price in your funnels. However, to buy your products for that price, customers would have to go through the funnel that’s configured to use it.
Because of how price visibility works, you can only have as many prices as you want for a product, but only one of those prices can be the visible price. You can easily edit the price or create a new price and change it to visible.
How to Use Price Visibility in ClickFunnels 2.0
Okay, now that you know what a “visible” price in ClickFunnels 2.0 is, how do you use it?
It’s simple, really. Make sure that your highest price is the visible price, because that’s what customers will see when they explore your products in your website’s Store and Customer Center.
If you’re selling the product at any other price in your funnels (generally, it’s a good idea to test prices and promotional offers), then add those prices in, but make sure to always keep your highest price as the one that’s visible.
