Understanding Rytr’s Pricing

Here’s what you need to know about the pricing model of Rytr, one of the better AI copywriting assistants out there (in every sense of the word).

So you’re wondering whether to subscribe to Rytr, arguably one of the best AI copywriting assistants out there, and by far the most affordable for the quality of text that you get.

Unlike most of its competitors, which tend to have (overly) complicated pricing models, Rytr’s pricing model is simple: there’s a free plan, which you can keep using forever, and only one paid plan.

Rytr Free lets you generate up to 5,000 characters per month. Rytr Premium, which gives you access to unlimited text generation, costs only $29/month billed monthly and $290/month billed annually (by paying yearly, you get 2 months free).

Subscribers of Rytr Premium can create teams and add additional users at the price of $19/user/month billed monthly and $190/user/month when billed annually.

Seriously, compare that to Jarvis, whose comparable Boss Mode plan will set you back the whopping $119/month or $1,188/year, and you start to see what I mean when I say that Rytr is genuinely affordable.

Oh… and don’t forget that, as long as you’re good at finding coupons, I’m almost sure that you can come across a pretty sweet 10%, 20%, or 30% discount here and there.

Just how unlimited is Rytr’s “unlimited” text generation?

As with any service that makes unlimited claims—such as your hosting company—a fair usage policy applies. Unless you totally use and abuse the tool, I’m 99.9% confident that you’ll never understand what these limits exactly are.

That fair usage policy’s there to protect the tool’s creators from tech-savvy spammers who write scripts that automate text generation at a scale that Rytr (rather rightfully) isn’t intended to serve.

Is Rytr Premium refundable?

According to Rytr’s terms and conditions, all subscription fees are non-refundable. If you want to give Rytr Premium a spin at minimal risk to your wallet, you can buy a monthly subscription, which you can cancel at any time after your first month (no strings attached).

How can you pay for Rytr Premium?

At the time of publishing this article, you could only pay for Rytr Premium using a debit or credit card. To process payments, the app integrated to Stripe, which supports AmEx, Discover & Diners Club, MasterCard, and Visa.

Can you get extra credits on Rytr Free?

Additionally, users of Rytr’s free plan can get a one-time boost of up to 3,000 credits for spreading the word about the tool on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, as well as 2,000 credits for reviewing the app on Trustpilot and 3,000 credits for doing so on G2 Crowd.
